Data Converters
MAPI Platform excepts data in JSON/XML format while most of the existing applications may not be ready to send data in JSON/XML formats. Most of them would be keeping data in a Database or are written to files or some proprietary data formats.The data converters are custom programs written to read from these formats and convert to JSON and publish to MAPI where they can be processed. The output of MAPI execution will be in JSON format and the data need to be converted back to native data format such as database ,files etc. The data converters are binary executables which need to be installed along the client application.
